Candida Fratazzi Candida Fratazzi, MD
Clinical Research and Medical Affairs

Dr. Candida Fratazzi has worked in biomedical research for over 25 years. Prior to her full commitment to Boston Biotech Clinical Research, LLC, she served as Senior Medical Program Leader at Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc., Shire HGT, and Vitex Inc. Dr. Fratazzi has also held management positions at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. During her carrier, Dr. Fratazzi developed clinical strategies and plan developments for many drug candidates, presented in INDs and end-of-phase2 briefing documents.

Dr Carini Claudio Carini, MD. PhD
Translational Medicine and Biomarkers

Dr. Claudio Carini currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President for Clinical Research at Fresenius Pharmaceuticals Before joining Fresenius, Dr. Carini was Global Head of Translational Medicine and Head of The Biomarker Alliance at MDS Pharma. Prior to joining MDS, he served as Global Head of Biomarkers at Hoffman La Roche, and before that as Global Director and Therapeutic Area Head of Translational Medicine at Novartis.

Dr. John Morrow has more than 30 years experience as an investigative scientist in the fields of immunology, rheumatology and microbiology. In addition to basic research he has also run a clinical reference laboratory (diagnostic immunology, University of London) and has extensive experience of product applications and development within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Lauren Sabella
Commercial Development

Lauren has over 20 years of Pharmaceutical sales and marketing experience. In her latest role, Lauren served as the Vice President of Commercial Development at Altus Pharmaceuticals, a pre- commercial biotechnology company. In her role, she was responsible for all aspects of commercial development, including development of all platforms and processes. Prior to Altus, Lauren spent 18 years at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, where she held sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibility.

Dr. Paul Martha former President and CEO for Clinical Development & Regulatory Affairs at Elixir Pharmaceuticals in Cambridge, MA. Before joining Elixir, Dr. Martha was Executive Vice President of Research and Development at Chiasma, Inc., a privately-held biopharmaceutical company based in Jerusalem, Israel. Prior to Chiasma, Dr. Martha held the position of Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President of Shire Human Genetic Therapies, formerly Transkaryotic Therapies, Inc. (TKT).

For the past 33 Years Dr. Fuchs has held major Operations Management positions in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Industry. Dr. Fuchs has developed the Process Development and Manufacturing Organizations in a number of companies. In doing so, he has managed technology development, technology transfer and implementation and finally the manufacturing and CMC regulatory approvals of pharmaceutical products worldwide.
